Update released for iPhone by Apple
Finally a good news for Apple iPhone users as Apple released iPhone 2.2 update on Thursday night. This new 2.2 software update is easily available through iTunes, and it also includes many other features. The last update from Apple was in September.
Some main features of version 2.2 are GPS and Google Maps. Google Maps this time also includes the Google Street View which allows users to see a 360-degree view of locations taken with Google’s car’s cameras. Information about walking directions and public transportation stops is also added.
Another improvement is that iPhone can now download podcasts over the air using a Wi-Fi or 3G network. Previously this wasn’t possible as users had to download podcasts into iPhones on their computers and afterwards synchronize their files. In new update the users can even turn off auto-correction and allow the iPhone to guess what you are trying to type.
Apple iPhine users must update the software version to make their use a better experience.
