Things that Technical Companies follow before Hiring People

These days the most booming sector is the IT sector, however recession did hit it hard but IT is coming back on track to lead the world. Being a part of IT industry, I know what it requires to be in a good IT company and the company does take care of your skills and yes your background too.

This is for sure a technical blog and will remain very much technical but these days people are seeking jobs in technical firms or some other sectors like BPO, so I thought of throwing some light on this topic too. You do tell about your skills and your achievements to the company in your Resume but you just hide your background from them. You may have some happenings in the past that may have lead to some legal actions against you, so it is wise to be honest about your criminal past to the company you may be going to spend your lifetime, after all “a healthy relation needs the strong roots of trust.” There is nothing wrong in any history problems as this can happen with anyone because there may be certain conditions that lead to such situation.

Not all will agree to my point and may not disclose themselves to the company as they feel it may make them loose this opportunity but may be in future if the company came to know about your background then this may even make you unable to apply in any other company too. It is also suggested that employers should get brief knowledge about their employee’s background and what they have done in the past. Some people might think why employers should screen their employees, but the reputation of the company will depend of its employees and what if some employee with a criminal background becomes a major member of the company and then if his/her identity is disclosed then this may really affect the image or status of that very company in the market. So it is always better for employers to screen their employees as “Prevention is always better.”
