Finally Indian telecoms giants TATA entered the mobile phones GSM market as it launched its GSM connections in few South Indian States including Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh with attractive offers. The most satisfying thing for customers is the 1 second pulse criteria.
Most of us use mobile phones and must have encountered the situations when we had a call and after the call ends the duration turns out to be 1:02 or just above the minute pulse, but for that extra few seconds we had to pay for the complete minute and this seems unfair as we are charged for use but we got charged more than we actually used.
But TATA has the solution to this problem as they mind the words “Pay for what you use”, as they have a pulse of 1 second so you just pay for each second you consumed. In case you had a call of 63 seconds then you had to pay for those 63 seconds only and not for the complete second minute. This is really good as it may save some amount of balance and moreover the call rates are very reasonable so now call unlimited.

Is tata going to launch 10 ka gang like something As its in bpl see 1p for 1sec is as compare to 60ps right and its more than other services they provide 30ps or max to max 50ps for others than isnt it a cheaper on cant v try to go for 10 ka gang in tata just for 1ps/ 1 sec or 1ps/1 min only tata to tata

Well this kind of offers are expected from TATA. Not sure about 1p/ min but a lot cheaper than 1p/sec. And TATA did provide good schemes in CDMA like Tata to Tata free for 2008 days. May be some good schemes this time too.

Ritvik, The STD SMS rates are Rs1.20 per SMS.
But the best part is that You are charged for first 3 SMS then about 150 SMS are free for that day.
But that may vary from state to state.
