Micromax India has come up with its new handset Micromax Q3 with a QWERTY keypad for Fast chatting purpose. Its a Dual-Sim handset with a good battery backup, that has good looks as Nokia E71.

You can just enter the settings manually.
just try some Nokia Handset, can be N-series. Just look at its GPRS settings and enter them in Q3. This will work.

You may need some software like Gmail reader. The come by default in Nokia E series handsets. May have to browse the web for it.

Especially The Mobile Store Showroom, people they say if we ask about Micromax they says, we are not selling any china Mobile, why you are searching for it go for a company mobile. You can check it if you want in Ayanavaram & Perumbur Branch in Chennai . Where I asked for Micromax.

I wanted to buy Q3 but its camera and features were worst so i decided to buy Q5. As it was not lauched that time (3 months before) so i wait untill the phone launched. A week before when i got to know that it has been launched i went to buy it and found that there is no benefit to buy this phone. Camera which is said to be 2MP as poor as a VGA camera. Screen resolution is not good. Software running in the phone is look like chinese. Although sound is powered by YAMAHA but still leaves an impression like chinese phone’s sound. 2 sim cant be used same time, if you dialling from sim 1 and some calls you up on sim2 he will get the message that ”phone is switched off.” However looks are improved and better than Q3 still doesnt work. Poor battery backup. I tied it for only 10 minutes at store and 2 battery bars rolled down.
My suggestion for all people planning to buy Q5 is pls dont waste money on micromax. Better go for Nokia alteast their handsets are durable and longlife. Who knows about the life of Micromax.

My Micromax Ezpad 2 MP 2010 buying,mobile was not working properly for Dual sim (BSNL and IDEA). If iam making a call from Sim 1 at the same time some one tried to call to my Sim 2, he is getting the message Number not available or switched off (Not getting the message Number Busy). At a time only one sim is working.

Sorry mate.. There is no remedy for it.. Samsung’s Dual SIM mobile Phones are good and can solve this issue.. But with Micromax.. You will have to deal with it.

I bought Micromax Q3 mobile and its behavior is very inconsistent. I can sync up my emails some time. However, without changing any settings, I am unable to sync my emails after some time. It will sync emails 2 times out of 10 try. Same issue with connectivity of Nimbuzz. I have tried with other Nokia phones and the GPRS connectivity is fine.
Micromax Q3 is the worst mobile so far I have seen.

I bought the Micromax Q3 last month and am quite satisfied with it except for the fact that I’m unable to download any Youtube videos on it. There is no information anywhere as to what type of Video Player it supports – so I’m drawing a blank each time I search for suitable video players. Please give me a suggestion for a video player and the process to install it. Otherwise for the amount I have spent on the Micromax Q3 – It is definitely worth it!!! No matter what the others have to say about it.

The Micromax Q3 is now becomes night mare for me,cos its very very disspointing cell in comparison to theire boasted feature of intenet application phone…it looks like chinese phone at application level..but fails miserably on grounds of wap and intenet browsing…
Following is the list for you…
1)Cant run the pre installed nibuzzz even with proper internet connection…(Ohh max come dont ask me check SIM settings or WAP settings in my phone…as Iam not a intenet wannabe…everything is proper at wap setting level)
2) Cant update pre installed operamini 4 (big joke) to opera 4.2
3) cant open site in pre installed which are more than 300 kb or so…
4)you cant download the any file more than 300kb or so from root browser or pre installed operamini…
5)cant allows you to download anyother messenger like Ebuddy…or skype..
and this list goes on and on and on..
I know guys its a cheap phone with basic multimedia features..which is very gud for a normal mobile users…for videos,mp3 and FM..
But they have given QWETRY pad to boasted them as internetphone..But they are Silly craps…So at the end Iam going to follow the old path to have some branded cells like Nokia or Samsung…
And MAX one challenege for you I bet you will not able to solve any of above metioned problem..
I hope my post will not get deleted to suppress the truth…by Pro Micromax users..

Hope you go for Mobiles like Nokia Maemo N900, Sony Ericsson ELM or Samsung Corby PRO.
