limewire_logoYou must have heard of Peer to Peer file transfers, and the softwares used in it. Limewire is one of them and is very popular too. Well if you are thinking, Is Limewire Illegal? then the answer is no, as the software is available at its official website Limewire.com.

Limewire has two versions Free version and Paid version. Limewire enables you to download files at very high speeds. If you are using Paid version of Limewire without paying for it then you are using it the illegal way.

Limewire is made for the purpose of transferring and sharing personal stuff with others on the web, but if you are downloading some pirated movies, songs or videos then surely you are doing an illegal thing. Mostly the uploader is punished but you are also part of the crime.

So you are advised to stop downloading these illegal applications and play safe. Piracy is illegal as we all know, so you are a part of this illegal act if you are downloading pirated movies from the Internet using Limewire. This may also get your internet connection banned.
