iPhone 2.2 OS Creating Problems

Posted by max On November - 27 - 2008

The iPhone 2.2 OS was launched just a few days back and users were ready to use the new features of this new OS like Google Maps Street View, voice call and email enhancements, and an improved 3G Software.

But just as the iPhone users upgraded their iPhones with 2.2 OS, reports of several bugs and problems started rolling in. iPhone Atlas is reporting a number of problems associated with the new iPhone OS update. There are problems with broken applications to internet connection, and there isn’t a good review for OS 2.2 adopters.

The third-party application is no longer working properly under iPhone 2.2 OS and is believed to be caused by changes to iPhone OS and modifications to CoreAudio code. Uninstalling this OS and degrading to previous OS may solve this problem but of course the users will have to wait for the developers to release an update before they can enjoy all the features of OS 2.2.

Some updated iPhones are throwing errors that insist that the “SIM card not inserted” or that a PIN lock has been activated. In this case, removing the SIM card, restoring the iPhone through iTunes, and then re-inserting the SIM card may resolve the problem.

There are problems with WiFi and even the email processing is not doing good to iPhone users as they are unable to delete the mails. This is a major problems for users having AOL accounts.

Most of iPhone users who have upgraded OS 2.2 are enjoying the whole new experience without any problems, so you can update your iPhone with 2.2 OS and hopefully it’ll work good.
