How to Install Windows XP on PC with Pre-installed Vista
All those who used Windows XP and then had to use Windows Vista as it is pre-installed in their Laptop or computer know that Windows Vista is not that good as Windows XP. Some also tried to install Windows XP along with Windows Vista in a Dual-boot manner but had problems.
Most people have their computer dual boot with windows and Linux, as it gives the freedom to work. You can browse internet in Linux without the fear of getting affected by viruses, and play games on windows.
If you have tried installing Windows XP with Windows Vista already running then you must have faced problems as only one operating system is displayed at a time. After installing Windows XP, you don’t find Windows Vista at start-up. Now you need to repair the boot sector with Vista DVD. After you have done that you find only Vista at start-up and no windows XP.
You need to downlaod a Software Vista Boot Pro and run it in Windows Vista. It will detect all the operating systems installed on your computer and gives you the options to select an option by default. All the operating systems will be visible at start-up.

There is a difference in multi-boot with all windows operating systems and multi-boot with Linux and windows, as in all windows multi-boot if you hibernate an OS then that OS will resume by default where as you have the right to choose a different one with Linux-windows multi-boot.
