Google Celebrates Solar Eclipse 2009 with Google Solar Eclipse Logo
The whole world is ready to experience the century’s greatest Solar Eclipse, the world’s best search engine Google is also celebrating it. Google usually changes its logo on special days to dedicate their respect to those movements.
The change in icon usually makes people aware of that very special movement and it did this time too. When I opened Google in my browser it redirected me to Google.co.in and the image on top did showed the significant impact of solar eclipse in India. However when I checked Google.com, this wasn’t the case. It was a usual google home page.
Still this is a major day in history and this movement will not be seen again. But be careful while watching solar eclipse directly as it may be harmful. Follow safety steps and enjoy this amazing movement.

Google has began this trend of changing its Google logo on home page like Google modified its logo to Googlle logo on Google’s 11th birthday and Google Mahatama Gandhi Logo on Mahatama Gandhi’s Birthday.
