With so many companies striving for market share at the moment, it seems that there are some seriously good mobile phone deals out there at the moment. The question is how do you choose one that suits you and that isn’t going to cost you a fortune in the long run?

Price comparison sites can help to a certain extent, but you really need to know how many minutes and texts you use per month and furthermore what handset you are interested in. There are more expensive handsets such as the Nokia N97 and for the cheapest Nokia N97 deals you will be looking at spending a minimum of £40.00 per month if you want to get the handset for free.

Alternatively if you wanted to go for a cheaper handset, there is the Nokia 5530. You can get some great value Nokia 5530 deals on the same tariff as the Nokia N97 for half the price. So all in all it really depends on what handset you want and how much you are prepared to pay. One thing to remember is that you will be committed to 18 months usually, so it is wise that you make sure that you can afford the monthly payments for the duration of the contract.
