Civil Engineering proved Concrete: Panipat Hi Pass
Finally the 9.3 KM long (end-to-end) Fly over is running smoothly at Panipat NH-1 which is the G.T Road. Its a great Engineering achievement with the efforts of Civil Engineers of L&T Corporation. They did managed to set up a concrete structure within 2 years. But this Hi-Pass has affected many lives, some for good and some for bad.
Every act has both positive and negative aspects and so do this Hi-Pass or Fly over at Panipat. Now people traveling bye don’t have to wait for hours in terrible traffic jams as now it hardly takes 5-10 mins to cross the complete city through Panipat Hi-pass.
Moreover the density of traffic has also reduced considerably making it easier for local people to move freely in the city. As NH-1 is the lifeline of the country connecting major cities so a solution to traffic jams was required very badly and was achieved with this Hi-Pass.
Now just pay the toll tax at the toll booth at one end of the flyover and just fly in your vehicle at the rate of knots without even thinking to put the breaks on, so by this traveling time is reduced by big time. But the negative aspect is the affect on shops, hotels and markets in panipat as people traveling don’t go through the city rather they go over it now.
