The Internet is a large mass of information and can be easily available to a person by just clicking a button. However due to vast spread of information it is difficult to find the accurate data you are looking for. From the data it’s found that over 50% of the searches go through Google, so to make the access to the information easier they have designed an algorithm that will arrange the information in a specified order.

As the pollution is increasing day by day along with the hike in fuel prices, it has become a problem to pay all the expenses of a car. A web Forum ‘The Finnish Forum using net community is providing service to convert standard Petrol car to an Electric Car. They are working in the tradition of “Open Source” projects laid down by Information Technology-like Linux computer operating system that challenged Microsoft’s dominance.

Fuel Crisis Solution: Go Green with BioEthanol

Posted by max On August - 3 - 2008 1 COMMENT

The First generation Bioethanol fuels are neither cost effective neither did they contributed much to reduce the greenhouse gas emission. They also require huge amounts of food crops such as corn or sugarcane, this means that they can’t be produced in big quantities without threatening food supplies. But Second-generation bio-fuels can be the real alternatives for future and  supply larger proportion of our fuel. Moreover as they don’t consume food biomass so they step aside from the ‘Food or Fuel’ debate, but the problem related to it is the extraction of Ethanol from such stuff.

But now the solution to this thing seems to have appeared and is time to Go Green to as a chemical company in England developed a method to produce ethanol in large quantities from municipal solid waste and other organic things. The waste is superheated and is then fed to bacteria that produces ethanol which is then purified to be used as fuel by cars. One ton of dried waste produces nearly 400 liters of Bioethanol, and it emits 90% less greenhouse gases.

Going Green with this type of production serves dual process, firstly it solves the problem of waste disposal and secondly a fuel which is very efficient. The first commercial plant is expected to be set up in 2 years. Car companies are looking forward to make engines that can run directly of this kind of fuel without and conversion processes. This will play a major part in the alternatives for fuel and also as a eco-friendly solution.

Flyover at Panipat on NH1: Panipat Hi Pass

Posted by max On August - 1 - 2008 1 COMMENT

Another example of technology being used everywhere in today’s world is the Fly Over built on India’s national highway no.1 which is nearly 9.3 km long from one end to another. Actually it consists of 3 flyovers in all. The center one is the longest and it almost covers the city of Panipat. The other two are comparatively smaller and are on the outer part of the city where traffic and population is expected to boom in future.

It looks like a wave model that almost each and everyone would have studied in physics, as the central flyover represents the main wave and the other two represents its sidebands. It is simply a treat to have a ride on that excellently constructed engineering structure.
The national highway is the lifeline of India and links major cities of India and even Pakistan. But people faced lots of problems when it comes to crossing Panipat as there isn’t any bypass here. People have to wait hours in traffic jams and many of them missed their flights and others missed their meetings.

Many who had to reach places on time leave hours before what they should have done in normal conditions. Local people also suffer a lot due to heavy traffic jams and sometimes children coming from school reached their homes almost 3 hours late.

Finally the solution was put forward and a flyover is being build by L&T which has proved really very beneficial to each and every person. Now people can go through Panipat within 8 min which sometimes took hours.

It’s a 6 lane, beautifully designed and constructed flyover. The space is being perfectly utilized. People have to pay Rs.20 per crossing. And according to me its very less as far as the time which is being saved by giving few bugs.
If you have been through Panipat before then you may have thought of not coming again but now its completely changed. visit the Panipat Hi pass to have a great feeling of traveling.
